Andy Peterson began in the music business, directing marketing for label imprints at Arista Records, BMG Entertainment, Curb Records and Warner Bros. Highlights include overseeing campaigns for platinum selling, Grammy award winning artists Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Sixpence None The Richer, RandyTravis and many others. He was also instrumental in the launch of Smith’s Rocketown Records label as a standalone independent. Peterson next served as marketing director at Thomas Nelson, where he headed up the publisher’s
specialty books division – working titles from New York Times bestsellers Max Lucado and Donald Miller among others. Peterson then served as creative director for nine years at Nashville based film & television marketing agency Propeller taking lead on the company’s highest profile projects including work with DIRECTV, TiVo, NBC, Sony Pictures and Lionsgate. Andy Peterson is now President of leading innovative marketing company Different Drummer.
